Yesterday was a long hot day, got too much sun actually. In the evening the resort decided to put on a bonfire bbq down by the beach. The weather behaved itself so we were treated to a lovely evening with fire twirling and bonfires.
Today we travel south to the party town of Haad Rin i think its called. From there we can get to the east side and explore the other side of the island. The weather is ok today, windy but no sign of rain.
Got back safely from Haad Rin, beautiful beach there and i can imagine the full moon parties there are something special. I finally got to our favourite internet lounge so here are some more pictures from last night. Using ISO 800 and aperture i turned night into day.

Wow, how good is the video option on the 5D? I gotta admit, I kinda scoffed at the idea when I first heard it, and was of the attitude that it was more of a consumer gimmick that would never get used by serious users.
Now, I’ve completely changed. How handy is having the capability if you are a serious user travelling with one, or even for behind the scenes footage for photoshoots.
Unreal!
I must confess, using the 5D Mark I so no video option. I was using the wife’s Canon IXUS 90….shhhh
Whoops, my bad…I should’ve checked that first. How good is the Canon IXUS 90! LOL
Relax …. Hazuki relax – as its going OFF here!
