Every photographer comes with there own special and unique flavouring. Rebecca Parker has commented to me that “I am very non-technical by the way. I play by ear.”

Maybe there is a lesson for us all in this comment. Maybe we could do well by allowing more of our creativity to flow by being less technical. I shall let you, the reader, come to your own conclusions.

Rebecca says, “I am a self taught Photographer and Digital Artist, and I live in lovely Pembrey, Carmarthenshire which is approximately a four hour drive from London and Birmingham and two hours from Bristol. At the moment this is still my hobby not my living.

Im not overly keen on studio work smile Id rather be in a beautiful location which there are lots of around here.”

About the Author

My interest in photography goes back as far, if not further, than I can remember. My Grandfather had a thing called a box brownie and i remember being amazed at how it recorded history. I was given a 120 film camera when I was about 10 as evidenced by some black and white photos I recently found of my sister when she was 5 or so - she turned 40 in 2008. So from recording history, through the passage of an EOS 5 film into digital and moving into a desire to 'make images' rather than take photos, I find myself here. Photography. "For the thrill of it." Photography. "It's where life is happening." Photography. "When time stands still." Photography. "Maybe it's just about being there again."
