Nikon D3000 – the Smart New DSLR

The D3000 is Nikon’s smart new digital SLR. Its ease-of-use, combined with in-camera assistance and renowned technology, make it a breeze to make your move from point-and-shoot camera to DSLR.

One of the D3000’s great new features is its user-friendly Guide mode – an intuitive interface that helps you explore advanced photographic techniques. It guides you through shooting modes, in a hassle-free way, for close-ups, landscapes, portraits, fast-moving action, and soft backgrounds. You can fine tune the Guide mode settings to get the best possible photos.

The D3000’s performance includes up to 3 frames-per-second continuous shooting, and takes advantage of Nikon’s Scene Recognition System, Active D-Lighting, advanced 3D Colour Matrix Metering II, and 11-point selectable autofocus.

Nikon’s Picture Control System allows you to personalise key image controls. The D3000’s Retouch Menu provides a variety of effects to enhance photos in-camera without the need for a computer.

With a 10.2-Megapixel DX-format Imaging Sensor, this camera is capable of top quality images for prints up to 50cm x 75 cm.
