I have plenty of travel time on the bus each day which aptly justified the purchase of a seemingly extravagant iphone recently. I love the fact that I now have no “dead time” whilst in transit to work each day. I can play useless games, chat online, shop, listen to my favourite tunes and of course, my favourite -- research photographics!

I have always been a fan of photography podcasts but now with the added capability of the iphone I can now watch one of the millions of tutorials, tips and product reviews on u-tube.

I am most interested in photographic technology as of late, more because I want to be more helpful for callers at work and I am also eagerly looking to increase my camera kit and create a wishlist to save for!

The most recent find is this canon lens technology showcase that I had a bit of a drool-fest over last night! It is a mesmerising view into the science of canon lenses across the range and helps with understanding all those letters alongside the lens names that can be somewhat daunting when first venturing into the complex world of glass optics.
